I take it back to basics in this power hour, talking you through the process for self publishing a simple lined notebook which you can then upload onto Amazon and then go on and sell. You may wish to produce something for your business that you gift to your clients or you might want to produce something for the world to buy.
Either way I can take you through this process in around an hour in my new power hour – ‘from idea to self published’.
I’ve written and self published 3 children’s books and I’ve lost count of the numbers of notebooks, planners and colouring books I’ve published. It’s starting to make me a nice semi passive income.
Power Hour
In the POWER HOUR I take you through the process of self publishing your own lined notebook. A notebook is super easy to do but booking through me saves you hours of trawling through the internet to find the information. If you want to design a planner or write a book the process is similar and I can certainly give you pointers for this too.
In our hour I will:
- help you get set up on Amazon’s book selling website
- show you can to design your cover in Powerpoint*
- show you how to design your interior in Powerpoint*
- share useful websites that you might go on and use to make life easier (some cost, some don’t)
- talk you through potential pitfalls
- teach you what I know about keywords, description, categories and advertising
- share my knowledge into the world of self publishing children’s books, notebooks, colouring books etc and inspire you to begin your journey.
*I use Powerpoint to show you how to create your notebook. There are lots of other applications you can use for this and what I show you will be transferable across these platforms but please only book this session if you are familiar with Powerpoint or have the knowledge to transfer what I teach you.
