Relaxation on a Monday

6 weeks of Relaxation on a Monday.

Held in a private Facebook group.

Each Monday at 8.30pm (starting Monday 5 June 2023) join us for a 30 minute meditation session which begins with a mindful moment, followed by a mindful exercise, and then on to some focused breathing and then a short meditation before finishing with a 15-20 minute or so meditation.

Are you looking for an online relaxation class?  Then look no further…

6 weeks of Relaxation on a Monday.

Held in a private Facebook group so you don’t have to leave your home on a wet, windy, cold evening!

***In a community relaxation class if you pay for a block and you aren’t able to make the session you lose out.
***Often if you are running late it sometimes feels awkward to walk into the room.
***In a face to face class you feel you have to go because you already paid.

If you sign up to my Relaxation on a Monday it’s run in a private Facebook group so if you can’t make a week you can catch up; if you are running late you can either join in later or catch up later; if you don’t feel like doing it on a Monday evening you can catch up at a time that suits you better!

The 6 week block is suitable for those who are new to relaxation as well as those who have a relaxation/meditation practice.  This block is suitable for teens as well as adults; in fact why not sign up and get your teen to join in with you.  It’s a per household price rather than a per person price although only one of you will have access to the Facebook group.

There are so many benefits to having a regular relaxation practice including:

Reduced stress and anxiety: Relaxation techniques such as deep breathing, meditation, and progressive muscle relaxation can help calm your mind and reduce feelings of stress and anxiety.

Improved sleep: Regularly practicing relaxation techniques can help improve the quality of your sleep, allowing you to feel more rested and refreshed.

Lower blood pressure: Studies have shown that practicing relaxation techniques can help lower blood pressure, which can reduce the risk of heart disease and stroke.

Improved focus and concentration: By learning to quiet your mind and reduce distractions, you may find that you’re able to focus more effectively on tasks and increase your productivity.

Increased self-awareness: By tuning in to your body and your emotions, you can become more aware of your own needs and better equipped to manage your stress levels.

Enhanced sense of well-being: Regularly attending a relaxation class can help you feel more calm, centred, and content, leading to an overall enhanced sense of well-being.

Overall, attending a regular relaxation class can be a great way to take care of your physical and mental health, and to learn valuable skills for managing stress and improving your quality of life.  And given it’s an online relaxation class you can catch up if you can’t make it live!
